B2B wholesale fulfillment is order fulfillment for shipments going to another business — a retailer, a distributor, a boutique chain, a big-box vendor account — instead of a single consumer's mailbox. The units are bigger, cases and pallets instead of one poly bag, the paperwork is heavier, purchase orders, bills of lading, routing guides, and the tolerance for error is lower, because a short pallet count can mean a retailer chargeback, not just an angry email.

What B2B fulfillment costs — the published rates

Three line items drive most wholesale invoices: getting inventory in, storing it, and getting it back out as cases or pallets to your buyer. Here's every rate that applies, nothing held back for a sales call.

Postage and carrier labels (USPS, UPS, FedEx) pass through at our discounted rate. We don't mark them up, and there are no peak-season surcharges on top of any of these numbers.

What a month of wholesale volume actually costs

Say you keep 20 pallets on our floor all month and ship 150 case-pack orders to retail accounts, most of them under 10 lb. Here's the arithmetic, using only the published rates above:

• Storage: 20 pallets × $25 for the month = $500
• Receiving that inventory in, one truckload of 20 pallets: 20 × $20 = $400
• 110 case orders under 5 lb at $2.00 = $220.00
• 40 case orders 5–8 lb at $2.75 = $110.00
• Total: $1,230.00 for the month — no setup fee on top, using only the published rates above

The questions every wholesale RFQ asks — answered up front

Every serious wholesale RFQ we receive asks a version of the same list. Here it is, answered honestly.

• Minimum order volume, spend, or SKU count? None. We take accounts from a single pallet up to full-truckload programs.
• Setup, onboarding, or software fees? None. There's no setup fee.
• Contract length or cancellation penalty? Month-to-month. No long-term contract, no penalty to leave.
• Storage billing basis? By the pallet, billed monthly, climate-controlled, 24/7 monitored — you're charged only for the fraction of the month you actually use.
• Lot number and expiration-date tracking? Available on request through KAK WMS, our real-time inventory dashboard — useful for retailers with shelf-life or FIFO requirements.
• What do packaging materials cost? Standard packaging materials are billed from $0.25 per order on top of the $2.00–$4.00 (custom over 15 lb) order rate. Custom branded inserts or thank-you cards are custom-quoted.
• Carrier mix and rate markup? USPS, UPS, and FedEx rates pass through at our discounted cost. LTL and freight carriers are quoted per shipment at negotiated carrier cost, no markup added.
• Peak-season surcharges? None. Rates stay the same at your busiest volume.
• Insurance and liability? Coverage up to $500,000 per occurrence; we're liable for our own handling errors.

Anything not on our published rate list, kitting, custom freight lanes, retailer-specific packaging, gets a straight answer within 24 hours, not a runaround. Send us your specs and we'll quote it.

Freight, routing guides, and shipping into retailers

Every retailer runs its own routing guide: carrier requirements, appointment windows, bill-of-lading paperwork, pallet configuration, label placement. We build the pallet and paperwork to whatever spec you give us. The freight itself, LTL, full truckload, container devanning, or white-glove delivery, is quoted per shipment at our negotiated carrier rate, because lanes and accessorial charges vary too much to publish a flat number honestly.

What we won't do is guess at a number and hope it holds. Send us the retailer's routing guide, or just the freight lane and pallet count, and you get a real quote in 24 hours instead of a markup buried inside a vague "logistics fee."

Inventory visibility for wholesale accounts

You see what's on the floor in real time through KAK WMS, our inventory dashboard: pallet counts, lot numbers, expiration dates where tracked, and order status as cases go out the door. That matters more for wholesale than for direct-to-consumer orders, because a retailer chargeback for a short pallet or an expired lot is expensive, and the fix is catching it before the truck leaves, not after.

Kitting, bundling, subscription-box assembly, and custom inserts are available for wholesale programs that need pre-built retail packs. These are custom-quoted against your SKUs and assembly complexity, not a flat per-unit add-on we could publish honestly.
