Before you request a quote
Know the cost. Check the fit. Plan your first shipment.
Start with a small shipment or an established operation. There is no minimum volume. Tell us what you sell so we can confirm the handling, space and shipping you actually need.
What will my first month cost?
Example: 500 single-item orders under 5 lb × $2.00 full-service handling = $1,000. At $0.25 per mailer add $125; two full billable pallet-months add $50 and one inbound pallet adds $20. Total: $1,195 BEFORE postage, returns or extra work.
Examples use standard storage in the first three months. Long-stay pallet rates are $28/month in months 3–6 and $32/month after six months. Your written quote separates receiving, storage, handling, materials and shipping. Build your own estimate.
Why are there two handling prices?
Under 5 lb, Lean FBA is $0.50/unit and Lean FBM is $1.75/order when goods arrive pre-packed and ready to label. Full-service handling is $0.75/FBA unit or $2.00/FBM order; materials and postage are separate. These are service tiers, not automatic volume discounts.
Heavier items use different weight bands; over 15 lb or bulky items need a written quote. See the complete rate card.
Can you handle my products and platform?
Share your product type, packed dimensions and weight, sales platform and expected volume. Small batches and returns-only enquiries are welcome. Batteries, liquids, food, supplements, temperature-sensitive, hazardous or oversized items need acceptance and handling requirements confirmed before you ship.
For Shopify, Amazon, Walmart or another platform such as Amboras, tell us how orders and inventory are exchanged. The team confirms the connection or file workflow before onboarding; a platform name alone does not guarantee a supported integration.
How do I send inventory?
- Send your SKU list, dimensions, weights and carton/pallet count.
- Receive the written scope, rates and product-acceptance confirmation.
- Confirm account setup, labeling and receiving instructions with the team before dispatch.
- Send shipment details and tracking; agree the first prep job or order workflow.
Receiving location: 6117 Long Dr, Houston, TX 77087. Confirm inbound instructions before sending goods.
What about shipping and storage dimensions?
For a shipping estimate, send origin and destination ZIP codes, packed dimensions, weight, parcel count and desired delivery speed. Handling prices do not include carrier postage. Storage is charged only by carton or pallet. Bin and shelf storage is included in our standard pick-and-pack rate, with no separate charge. Send product dimensions and quantities so the team can confirm usable space, availability and the applicable carton or pallet storage rate in writing.
After you enquire: a real person from our Houston team replies within one business day, confirms any missing details and sends itemized pricing. You can ask for a written quote without booking a sales call. Unsure of volume? Select “Not sure yet” in the quote form.
Six services, one warehouse
We run six things out of 6117 Long Dr in Houston: Amazon FBA prep, FBM order fulfillment, palletized storage, receiving, returns processing, and a China-to-US sourcing bridge for brands still manufacturing overseas. You don't need a different vendor for each one, and you don't get a different account manager for each one either — it's the same team and the same dashboard.
Every rate below is published and locked through Q1 2027. If you're comparing us against a 3PL that won't quote a number until after a discovery call, that's worth noticing.
Amazon FBA Prep
$0.75/unit
FNSKU labeling, polybagging, bubble wrap, and standard cartonization included; packaging materials billed separately (polybag $0.20). See FBA prep details →

China-to-US Sourcing Bridge
Custom-quoted

The rate card, in one table
These are the numbers we quote on the phone. No tiered "starter/growth/enterprise" plans, no rate that changes based on how big your brand looks.
| Service | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon FBA prep | $0.75/unit | Full-service FBA handling for units under 5 lb is $0.75/unit, including FNSKU labeling and prep labor. Materials are separate: polybag $0.20/unit and bubble wrap $0.20/unit when needed. Receiving, storage and outbound freight are separate. Lean label-ready units start at $0.50; heavier units use the published weight bands. |
| FBM order — up to 5 lb | $2.00/order | Pick, pack, ship — packaging materials from $0.25 |
| FBM order — 5–8 lb | $2.75/order | Same scope, heavier tier |
| FBM order — 8–15 lb | $4.00/order | Same scope, heavier tier |
| FBM order — over 15 lb | Custom quote | Same scope, heavier tier |
| Pallet storage | $25/pallet, monthly | Climate-controlled, prorated |
| Receiving | $20/pallet ($5/carton) | |
| Returns processing | $1.50/return | Inspection included |
| Postage / carrier labels | Pass-through, no markup | Discounted USPS / UPS / FedEx rates |
Kitting, bundling, subscription-box assembly, custom inserts, and freight (devanning, LTL, white-glove) are custom-quoted against your specs — we don't publish flat rates for those because the labor varies too much SKU to SKU. Full breakdown at /kak-price-list/ and /pricing/.
What a month actually costs
Take a mid-size brand: 200 FBA units prepped, 300 FBM orders shipped (all under 5 lb), 10 pallets in storage the full month, 2 pallets received, and 15 returns processed.
| Line item | Volume | Rate | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| FBA prep | 200 units | $0.75/unit | $150.00 |
| FBM fulfillment | 300 orders | $2.00/order | $600.00 |
| Pallet storage | 10 pallets × 1 month | $25/month | $250.00 |
| Receiving | 2 pallets | $20/pallet ($5/carton) | $40.00 |
| Returns | 15 returns | $1.50/return | $22.50 |
| Total | $1,062.50 |
That's the full stack, no hidden add-ons — the storage line is the one buyers usually miscalculate, since it bills per month, prorated ($25/pallet for a full month), not as a flat charge regardless of when pallets leave. Postage is separate and passed through at carrier cost. Scale the volumes up or down and the math holds; there's no minimum spend that kicks in below a certain order count.
The questions every RFQ asks us
Brands sending us an RFQ tend to ask the same dozen questions, itemized. Here they are, answered straight.
- Minimum order volume, spend, or SKU count? None. A skincare brand launching with 500 units pays the same per-unit rate as a brand shipping 50,000.
- Onboarding, software, integration, or account-management fees? None. Platform integrations (Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, and the rest) and the KAK WMS dashboard are part of the service, not an add-on line.
- Contract length or cancellation penalty? No contract. Month-to-month by default.
- Peak-season surcharges? None. The rate you're quoted in March is the rate you pay in November.
- Turnaround and cutoffs? Inventory or orders in before the 2pm CT cutoff, Monday–Saturday, ship or get prepped the same day.
- Insurance and liability? Coverage up to $500,000 per occurrence; we're liable for our own handling errors.
- Support contact? +1 832 759 1368 or sales@kaksourcing.com.
For anything not on this list — kitting specs, freight lanes, custom packaging — the honest answer is: custom-quoted. Tell us the specs on the quote form and you'll have a number in 24 hours, not a follow-up call to schedule another call.
Receiving, storage, and returns — the parts people skip past
Receiving
Receiving is $20 per pallet ($5 per carton). There's no separate carton fee or per-unit receiving charge stacked on top.
Storage
Storage bills per month, prorated, so you're only paying for the days a pallet actually sat in the warehouse — a pallet that arrives mid-month and ships out early doesn't get charged a full month. The facility is climate-controlled and monitored 24/7. Lot-number and expiration-date tracking is available for anyone running perishables, supplements, or regulated goods.
Returns
Returns are inspected on arrival and processed at $1.50 each — inspection is included in that rate, not billed separately.
Beyond the flat rates: kitting, freight, and custom work
Not everything fits a per-unit rate card, and we'd rather say that than invent one. Kitting, bundling, subscription-box assembly, and custom inserts or thank-you cards are available — quoted against your actual specs, because assembly labor on a 3-piece kit and a 12-piece kit isn't the same job.
Multi-item orders don't get force-preassembled into kits by default — we pick and pack each order at the flat per-order rate above, and only build kits ahead of time if that's what you actually want (also custom-quoted).
For brands still sourcing or manufacturing overseas, the China-to-US bridge covers container devanning, LTL freight, and white-glove delivery into our Houston dock — priced at negotiated carrier cost per shipment, not a published flat rate, since freight lanes move too much to lock in a number through 2027.
Software and inventory visibility
Every account runs on the KAK WMS — a real-time inventory dashboard. Lot-number and expiration-date tracking is available for anyone who needs it. Full detail on /wms/.
On the fulfillment side, we support order fulfillment for Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, Magento, and Amazon FBM.
