Carrier Integration
DHL eCommerce Fulfillment Integration
DHL eCommerce isn't part of our standard carrier mix — we run USPS, UPS, and FedEx out of our Houston warehouse, passed through to you at cost with no markup. Here's exactly what we do offer, what it costs, and how to raise DHL eCommerce specifically if your business needs it.

Before you request a quote
Know the cost. Check the fit. Plan your first shipment.
Start with a small shipment or an established operation. There is no minimum volume. Tell us what you sell so we can confirm the handling, space and shipping you actually need.
What will my first month cost?
Example: 500 single-item orders under 5 lb × $2.00 full-service handling = $1,000. At $0.25 per mailer add $125; two full billable pallet-months add $50 and one inbound pallet adds $20. Total: $1,195 BEFORE postage, returns or extra work.
Examples use standard storage in the first three months. Long-stay pallet rates are $28/month in months 3–6 and $32/month after six months. Your written quote separates receiving, storage, handling, materials and shipping. Build your own estimate.
Why are there two handling prices?
Under 5 lb, Lean FBA is $0.50/unit and Lean FBM is $1.75/order when goods arrive pre-packed and ready to label. Full-service handling is $0.75/FBA unit or $2.00/FBM order; materials and postage are separate. These are service tiers, not automatic volume discounts.
Heavier items use different weight bands; over 15 lb or bulky items need a written quote. See the complete rate card.
Can you handle my products and platform?
Share your product type, packed dimensions and weight, sales platform and expected volume. Small batches and returns-only enquiries are welcome. Batteries, liquids, food, supplements, temperature-sensitive, hazardous or oversized items need acceptance and handling requirements confirmed before you ship.
For Shopify, Amazon, Walmart or another platform such as Amboras, tell us how orders and inventory are exchanged. The team confirms the connection or file workflow before onboarding; a platform name alone does not guarantee a supported integration.
How do I send inventory?
- Send your SKU list, dimensions, weights and carton/pallet count.
- Receive the written scope, rates and product-acceptance confirmation.
- Confirm account setup, labeling and receiving instructions with the team before dispatch.
- Send shipment details and tracking; agree the first prep job or order workflow.
Receiving location: 6117 Long Dr, Houston, TX 77087. Confirm inbound instructions before sending goods.
What about shipping and storage dimensions?
For a shipping estimate, send origin and destination ZIP codes, packed dimensions, weight, parcel count and desired delivery speed. Handling prices do not include carrier postage. Storage is charged only by carton or pallet. Bin and shelf storage is included in our standard pick-and-pack rate, with no separate charge. Send product dimensions and quantities so the team can confirm usable space, availability and the applicable carton or pallet storage rate in writing.
After you enquire: a real person from our Houston team replies within one business day, confirms any missing details and sends itemized pricing. You can ask for a written quote without booking a sales call. Unsure of volume? Select “Not sure yet” in the quote form.
Where DHL eCommerce fits in our fulfillment setup
Straight answer: it doesn't, yet. DHL eCommerce is not one of the carriers we run inside our warehouse management system (KAK WMS) today. What we run day to day is discounted USPS, UPS, and FedEx rates, passed through to you at our carrier cost — no markup, ever. If your store is built around DHL eCommerce labels specifically, say so on your quote request and we'll tell you plainly whether we can support it — we're not going to advertise an automatic DHL eCommerce label integration we don't actually run.
Whichever carrier ends up on the label, the fee structure is the same: you pay the flat per-order fulfillment rate we charge for any FBM or DTC order — $2.00/order up to 5 lb — and postage is passed through at our discounted carrier cost, no markup added. Packaging materials are billed at cost — standard mailers from $0.25, polybags $0.20, never marked up.
This works the same way for every channel we connect to: Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, Magento, and Amazon FBM. Orders sync into KAK WMS, get picked and packed in our 32,000 sqft climate-controlled Houston facility, and ship out the same day if they're in before cutoff.
What an order costs, by weight
The fulfillment fee is flat and published — it does not change based on which carrier ends up on the label. Postage is separate and billed at cost.
| Order weight | Pick, pack, ship (packaging materials from $0.25) |
|---|---|
| Up to 5 lb | $2.00/order |
| 5–8 lb | $2.75/order |
| 8–15 lb | $4.00/order |
| over 15 lb | Custom quote |
Carrier postage itself — USPS, UPS, or FedEx — is a separate line, passed through at our negotiated rate; we don't mark it up. Exact per-label postage depends on your package weight, dimensions, and destination zone, so we don't publish a flat number for it; it shows up itemized on your invoice. DHL eCommerce isn't part of our standard carrier mix today — if that's specifically what your business runs on, tell us on your quote request and we'll confirm whether we can support it.
What a month actually costs
Take a seller doing 300 orders a month, all under 5 lb, plus 6 pallets of standing inventory:
- Fulfillment: 300 orders × $2.00 = $600
- Storage: 6 pallets × $25, billed monthly = $150/mo
- Receiving: $20/pallet ($5/carton) on inbound restocks (ften you restock
- Carrier postage (USPS, UPS, or FedEx): itemized at cost, no markup — varies by weight and zone
Total predictable cost for fulfillment and storage: roughly $750/month for 300 orders and 6 pallets. That's the number you can plan around before the two variable line items on top — receiving, which depends on how often you restock, and carrier postage, which depends on weight and zone. Both are billed at cost with no markup and itemized on your invoice.
Run your own SKU count and order volume through the same math on our price list, or get exact numbers on our pricing page.
How an order moves through our fulfillment workflow
- Order comes in from your store — Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, Magento, or Amazon FBM — and syncs into KAK WMS in real time.
- If it's in before our 2pm CT cutoff, Monday–Saturday, it's picked and packed the same day.
- A shipping label generates at the point of pack, using our carrier mix — USPS, UPS, or FedEx — billed at our pass-through rate, no markup.
- The order ships the same day, and status updates flow through your KAK WMS dashboard.
The questions buyers actually ask before switching
Straight answers, in order:
- Minimums or MOQs? None. We take a single unit or a full pallet program with no volume floor.
- Setup, onboarding, or software fees? None. There's no setup fee.
- Contract or cancellation penalty? No contract — month-to-month.
- Do you mark up carrier rates? No. Postage — USPS, UPS, or FedEx — is passed through at cost, itemized on the invoice.
- Receiving cost? $20/pallet ($5/carton).
- Storage billing? $25/pallet, billed monthly (you pay for the fraction of the month you actually use), in climate-controlled space.
- Lot/expiry tracking? Available in KAK WMS if your product needs it.
- Returns processing? $1.50/return, inspection included.
- Peak-season surcharges? None, ever.
- Insurance? Coverage up to $500,000 per occurrence; KAK is fully liable for its own handling.
Anything not itemized above — kitting, subscription-box assembly, custom inserts, LTL freight, container devanning, or a specific carrier like DHL eCommerce — is custom-quoted. Send specs through get a quote and you'll have a number in 24 hours.
