Real-Time Inventory Management for Ecommerce Sellers
One inventory pool in our Houston warehouse feeds every channel you sell on — Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and more. Counts update in the KAK WMS dashboard as orders come in, so you're never overselling on one channel because another one sold out first.

How real-time inventory sync actually works here
You ship inventory to one warehouse, and every channel you sell on pulls from the same count. We don't keep separate spreadsheets per platform and reconcile them at the end of the day — the KAK WMS dashboard is the single source of truth, and it's what updates when a unit gets picked, packed, or checked in.
On the fulfillment side, the same per-order rate — $2.00/order and up, based on weight — applies whether the order came from Shopify, Amazon FBM, Walmart, TikTok Shop, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, or Magento. Pick, pack, and ship is priced the same way no matter which channel it came from. Stock levels and order status live in the KAK WMS dashboard, so you're checking one screen instead of logging into a different seller portal for each platform.
- Inventory ships to 6117 Long Dr, Houston, TX 77087. Receiving is $20/pallet ($5/carton).
- Freight in before our 2pm CT cutoff, Monday–Saturday, is typically checked into the system the same day.
- Units appear in the KAK WMS dashboard and become available to every connected channel at once — no per-platform stock transfers.
- Orders come in from any channel, get picked and packed against the same pool, with status visible in the KAK WMS dashboard.
What it costs to store and move inventory
These are the published rates — the same ones every account runs on, whether you're shipping 20 orders a month or 2,000.
| Service | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Pallet storage | $25/pallet, billed monthly | Climate-controlled. Pay only for the fraction of the month you use. |
| Receiving | $20/pallet ($5/carton) | Charged on every inbound |
| Amazon FBA prep | $0.75/unit under 5 lb; materials separate | FNSKU labeling and prep labor included; polybags and bubble wrap $0.20 each when used. |
| FBM / DTC fulfillment — up to 5 lb | $2.00/order | Pick, pack, ship. Packaging materials from $0.25. |
| FBM / DTC fulfillment — 5–8 lb | $2.75/order | Same inclusions as above. |
| FBM / DTC fulfillment — 8–15 lb | $4.00/order | Same inclusions as above. |
| FBM / DTC fulfillment — over 15 lb | Custom quote | Same inclusions as above. |
| Returns processing | $1.50/return | Inspection included. |
| Postage (USPS/UPS/FedEx) | Pass-through at cost | No markup on carrier rates. |
Rates above are locked through Q1 2027. Kitting, bundling, subscription-box assembly, branded inserts, and freight/LTL are custom-quoted based on your specs — they're not flat-rate services because labor and freight vary too much to publish one number.
What a month of inventory management actually costs
Say you keep 10 pallets in storage, ship 300 FBM orders a month (all under 5 lb), send 200 units through Amazon FBA prep, and receive one inbound shipment of those 10 pallets. Here's the real math, using only the published rates:
| Line item | Volume | Rate | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pallet storage | 10 pallets, full month | $25/pallet monthly ($25/mo per pallet) | $250.00 |
| FBM fulfillment | 300 orders, under 5 lb | $2.00/order | $600.00 |
| FBA prep | 200 units | $0.75/unit | $150.00 |
| Receiving | 10 pallets inbound | $20/pallet ($5/carton) | $200.00 |
| Total | $1,200.00 |
If your order volume is different, the FBM line scales the same way. At $2.00/order (under 5 lb):
| Orders/month | FBM fulfillment cost |
|---|---|
| 50 | $137.50 |
| 100 | $275.00 |
| 300 | $825.00 |
Postage is billed at pass-through carrier cost on top of the fulfillment fee — we don't mark it up, so your actual per-order total depends on package weight and destination zone.
Lot tracking, expiration dates, and knowing what's low
Yes, we track lot numbers and expiration dates — it's available on your account in the KAK WMS dashboard, which matters most for supplement, cosmetic, and food-adjacent brands that need FIFO rotation and can't afford to ship expired stock. You see what's in the warehouse, by lot, without calling us to ask.
The same dashboard is where you watch stock levels across every channel in one place instead of tabbing between Seller Central, Shopify admin, and a Walmart portal. Because every channel draws from the same pool, a low-stock signal on one platform means the same thing everywhere — you're not guessing whether Amazon sold out while Shopify still shows inventory.
The questions every buyer asks before switching 3PLs
These come up on almost every RFQ we get, so here are direct answers instead of making you dig for them.
Minimums, fees, and contracts
No minimum order volume, no minimum monthly spend, no minimum SKU count. A brand launching with 500 units starts on the exact same rate card as one shipping 50,000. No setup fees. No contracts — everything runs month-to-month, and you can leave whenever you want. The KAK WMS dashboard and your channel integrations aren't billed as separate line items; they run on the per-unit and per-order rates published above.
Per-order pricing for multi-item and bundled orders
We price by package weight, not by how many items are in the box. A 1-item order and a 5-item order both under 5 lb cost the same $2.00 to pick, pack, and ship. Bundles get picked and packed to order at that same flat rate — we don't force preassembly. If you'd rather have kits built and shelved ahead of time, that's available too, custom-quoted, since the labor depends on your SKUs.
Carriers and surcharges
We rate-shop across USPS, UPS, and FedEx and pass the discounted rate through at cost — no markup. There are no peak-season surcharges added on top of the published rates, and no forced use of one carrier if another is cheaper for a given package.
Returns, inspection, and what's not included
Returns are $1.50 each, with inspection included in that price. Extras like restock photography or disposal of unsellable units aren't part of the flat fee — those are handled case by case, so ask for a number when you send your specs.
Turnaround and support
Inventory and orders that come in before our 2pm CT cutoff, Monday through Saturday, ship or get prepped the same day. Walk-ins are welcome too, with 24 hours' notice — the warehouse is staffed Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm CT. If something goes sideways with an order, you reach a person — +1 832 759 1368 or sales@kaksourcing.com — not a ticket queue.
For the full rate card in one place, see our price list or the broader pricing overview. If inventory management is one piece of a bigger fulfillment setup, our 3PL warehouse service page and storage page cover receiving and warehousing in more depth, and our WMS page goes deeper on the dashboard itself.
