What will my first month cost?
Example: 500 single-item orders under 5 lb × $2.00 full-service handling = $1,000. At $0.25 per mailer add $125; two full billable pallet-months add $50 and one inbound pallet adds $20. Total: $1,195 BEFORE postage, returns or extra work.
Examples use standard storage in the first three months. Long-stay pallet rates are $28/month in months 3–6 and $32/month after six months. Your written quote separates receiving, storage, handling, materials and shipping. Build your own estimate.
Why are there two handling prices?
Under 5 lb, Lean FBA is $0.50/unit and Lean FBM is $1.75/order when goods arrive pre-packed and ready to label. Full-service handling is $0.75/FBA unit or $2.00/FBM order; materials and postage are separate. These are service tiers, not automatic volume discounts.
Heavier items use different weight bands; over 15 lb or bulky items need a written quote. See the complete rate card.
Can you handle my products and platform?
Share your product type, packed dimensions and weight, sales platform and expected volume. Small batches and returns-only enquiries are welcome. Batteries, liquids, food, supplements, temperature-sensitive, hazardous or oversized items need acceptance and handling requirements confirmed before you ship.
For Shopify, Amazon, Walmart or another platform such as Amboras, tell us how orders and inventory are exchanged. The team confirms the connection or file workflow before onboarding; a platform name alone does not guarantee a supported integration.
How do I send inventory?

What about shipping and storage dimensions?
For a shipping estimate, send origin and destination ZIP codes, packed dimensions, weight, parcel count and desired delivery speed. Handling prices do not include carrier postage. Storage is charged only by carton or pallet. Bin and shelf storage is included in our standard pick-and-pack rate, with no separate charge. Send product dimensions and quantities so the team can confirm usable space, availability and the applicable carton or pallet storage rate in writing.

We are not a compounding pharmacy and we don't test or certify formulations — that's not our job. What we do is handle the physical fulfillment side well: FNSKU labeling and FBA-compliant cartonization for Amazon, careful pick-pack for direct-to-consumer orders, and inventory tracking that keeps lot numbers and expiration dates attached to the right units so a recall or an expiring batch never gets mixed into a fresh one.

That's $1,125 for FBA prep (1,500 × $0.75), $800 for FBM orders (400 × $2.00), $200 for storage (8 pallets × $25), $400 for receiving (20 pallets × $20.00), and $22.50 for returns (15 × $1.50). No setup fee sits on top of that number — what you see is what you pay.
Lot tracking, expiration dates, and climate control
Yes, we track lot numbers and expiration dates — it's a standard capability in our KAK WMS inventory dashboard, not an add-on you have to negotiate for. Every pallet and case can carry a lot number and expiration date in the system, so older stock ships before newer stock and nothing close to expiring gets buried behind a fresh pallet.
Storage is climate-controlled and the building is monitored 24/7, inside our 32,000 sqft Houston facility. That matters for capsules, gummies, powders, and liquid formulations that degrade in heat — Houston summers are not kind to inventory sitting on an uncontrolled dock.

Minimums, fees, and contracts
No minimum order volume, no minimum spend, no minimum SKU count — we've onboarded brands starting with a single unit. No setup fee. No contract: everything is month-to-month.
Receiving and time-to-available
Receiving is $20 per pallet ($5 per carton). Inventory received before our 2pm CT cutoff, Monday through Saturday, is typically available to ship the same day.
Packaging, inserts, and branded materials
Standard packaging materials are billed separately from the per-order and per-unit rates above — from $0.25 for a standard mailer, $0.20 per polybag. Custom inserts, branded thank-you cards, and kitted subscription boxes are available; because materials and assembly time vary, those are custom-quoted rather than a flat published rate.
Carrier rates and returns
USPS, UPS, and FedEx labels are billed at our discounted rates, passed through at cost with no markup. Returns are $1.50 per return, and inspection is included so you know what came back and why.
Coverage and liability
Every shipment is covered up to $500,000, and KAK is fully liable for its own handling errors — that's not a paid add-on, it's how we operate.
Kitting, bundling, and subscription boxes
For an FBM order with two or more items, add $0.25 multiplied by the total item count. A three-item order under 5 lb is $2.75 full-service handling before materials and postage. Kitting is $0.40 per unit assembled when requested.
