Who runs KAK Sourcing, and since when

We're KAK Sourcing & Fulfillment, a Houston, TX third-party logistics company founded by Sohail Ahmed and Kanwar Khan, Houston-based logistics operators with 7+ years building DTC fulfillment infrastructure.

The dates, so you can check them against public records: the founders have been selling and fulfilling online since 2019; the operating company, KAK Global Link Inc, was incorporated in Texas in November 2023 (Texas SOS file 0805289449); and the Houston warehouse has operated since June 2024. What we charge — the published rate card

The full rate card: $0.75 per unit for FBA prep, $2.00 to $4.00 (custom-quoted over 15 lb) per order for FBM/DTC pick-pack-ship by weight tier, $25 per pallet billed monthly for storage, $20 per pallet ($5 per carton) for receiving, and $1.50 per return. These rates are locked through Q1 2027 — if a number changes, this page changes with it, and we don't quote one figure on the phone and bill a different one on the invoice.

FBM/DTC fulfillment runs the same way regardless of channel — Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, Magento, and Amazon FBM all bill at the same per-order tiers above. Full breakdown at the KAK price list and pricing.

Kitting and bundling run $0.40 per unit and custom inserts $0.10 each; subscription-box assembly is custom-quoted by SKU count. Container devanning is $225 (20ft), $315 (40ft), or $375 (40ft high-cube) for single-SKU floor-loaded containers — mixed-SKU loads are quoted per shipment. LTL freight and white-glove handling are quoted per shipment at negotiated carrier cost. Tell us the spec and you'll have a number in 24 hours.

What a month actually costs

A typical month runs $900 to $1,418 depending on your order volume and pallet count — here are two example profiles, using only the rates above.

DTC brand: 300 orders/month, 8 pallets in storage

• 300 orders at the $2.00 tier: $600.00
• 8 pallets, billed monthly: 8 × $25 = $200.00
• Receiving one inbound restock of 30 pallets: 30 × $20 = $600.00
• 12 returns processed: 12 × $1.50 = $18.00
• Total: $1,418.00/month, before postage (billed at carrier cost) and before any customized packaging.

FBA-only seller: 500 units prepped/month, 5 pallets in storage

• 500 units at $0.75/unit prep: $375.00
• 5 pallets, billed monthly: 5 × $25 = $125.00
• Receiving one inbound of 20 pallets: 20 × $20 = $400.00
• Total: $900.00/month

Answers to the questions every RFQ asks

Minimums, setup, and contracts

No minimum order volume, no minimum spend, no minimum SKU count — a brand launching with 500 units onboards the same way a brand shipping 50,000 units does. There's no setup fee, no onboarding fee, no software fee, and no account-management fee baked into the rate card. We work month-to-month; there's no cancellation penalty because there's no contract to cancel.

Receiving cost and time-to-available

Receiving is $20 per pallet ($5 per carton). Inventory in before the 2pm CT cutoff, Monday through Saturday, ships or gets prepped the same day.

Storage billing and climate control

$25 per pallet per month — you're billed for the fraction of the month you actually use, not a flat monthly rate regardless of when inventory arrived or left. The whole 32,000 sqft facility is climate-controlled, which matters for anything with a shelf life or a material sensitive to temperature swings.

Lot tracking, expiration dates, and per-order pick-pack

Lot-number and expiration-date tracking is available through our real-time inventory dashboard (KAK WMS). Every order — one item or ten — is picked and packed at the flat per-order rate on the table above; we don't force preassembly into kits before an order ships. If you want items preassembled into bundles ahead of time, that's kitting, and it's custom-quoted, not included in the base per-order rate.

Packaging, inserts, and carrier costs

Standard packaging materials are billed separately from the FBA prep and FBM per-order rates — polybags at $0.20, standard mailers from $0.25. Custom branded inserts or thank-you cards are custom-quoted since the cost depends on the print run and material. Carrier labels bill at our discounted USPS/UPS/FedEx rates passed through at cost — we don't mark up postage.

Returns

$1.50 per return, inspection included. Photos, restocking, and disposal beyond a standard inspection are scoped case-by-case since condition and disposition vary — custom-quoted; tell us your specs and you'll have the number in 24 hours.

Integrations and turnaround

Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, and Magento are all channels we fulfill orders for, with real-time inventory sync through KAK WMS. Anything received or ordered before the 2pm CT cutoff, Monday–Saturday, ships or gets prepped the same day.

How this compares to typical 3PL practice

We can't quote competitors' prices as fact and won't pretend to know what any specific provider charges. What we can tell you honestly, in general terms: many 3PLs charge setup or onboarding fees, require a minimum order volume or a signed annual contract, and bill storage on a flat monthly basis regardless of when inventory actually moved. We built our rate card specifically without those features — no setup fee, no minimum, no contract, monthly storage billing. That's a structural choice, not a promotional one — the rate card above is locked through Q1 2027.

Coverage, insurance, and how to verify us

Inventory in our care is covered up to $500,000 per occurrence, and KAK is liable for its own handling. Our inventory dashboard (KAK WMS) gives you real-time visibility into what's on the shelf, not a report that updates once a day.
