What will my first month cost?
Example: 500 single-item orders under 5 lb × $2.00 full-service handling = $1,000. At $0.25 per mailer add $125; two full billable pallet-months add $50 and one inbound pallet adds $20. Total: $1,195 BEFORE postage, returns or extra work.
Examples use standard storage in the first three months. Long-stay pallet rates are $28/month in months 3–6 and $32/month after six months. Your written quote separates receiving, storage, handling, materials and shipping. Build your own estimate.
Why are there two handling prices?
Under 5 lb, Lean FBA is $0.50/unit and Lean FBM is $1.75/order when goods arrive pre-packed and ready to label. Full-service handling is $0.75/FBA unit or $2.00/FBM order; materials and postage are separate. These are service tiers, not automatic volume discounts.

Can you handle my products and platform?
Share your product type, packed dimensions and weight, sales platform and expected volume. Small batches and returns-only enquiries are welcome. Batteries, liquids, food, supplements, temperature-sensitive, hazardous or oversized items need acceptance and handling requirements confirmed before you ship.
For Shopify, Amazon, Walmart or another platform such as Amboras, tell us how orders and inventory are exchanged. The team confirms the connection or file workflow before onboarding; a platform name alone does not guarantee a supported integration.
How do I send inventory?
- Send your SKU list, dimensions, weights and carton/pallet count.
- Receive the written scope, rates and product-acceptance confirmation.
- Confirm account setup, labeling and receiving instructions with the team before dispatch.
- Send shipment details and tracking; agree the first prep job or order workflow.

What about shipping and storage dimensions?
For a shipping estimate, send origin and destination ZIP codes, packed dimensions, weight, parcel count and desired delivery speed. Handling prices do not include carrier postage. Storage is charged only by carton or pallet. Bin and shelf storage is included in our standard pick-and-pack rate, with no separate charge. Send product dimensions and quantities so the team can confirm usable space, availability and the applicable carton or pallet storage rate in writing.

What "PR event fulfillment" actually means
It means someone other than your agency staff is packing the boxes. Influencer seeding, press kits, launch-event swag, and VIP gifting share the same three requirements: the contents have to look intentional, the timing has to hit a hard date, and the volume swings from zero to a few hundred units in a single week. A 3PL built for steady-state ecommerce — bulk pallets in, orders trickling out for months — will often quote a setup fee and a multi-week onboarding just to handle a one-time drop. That's the wrong tool for a campaign.
What you actually need is a warehouse that will receive product on short notice, hold it a few weeks without punishing storage fees, assemble it to spec, and ship the whole run against a single date. That's a project, not a subscription, and it should be priced like one.
Why kitting and custom assembly are quoted, not published
Tissue paper, ribbon, custom inserts, hand-assembly time — the cost of a kit depends on the materials and labor a specific campaign needs, so it can't be reduced to one flat number the way pick-pack-ship can. Kitting, bundling, and custom-insert assembly are custom-quoted: send the exact contents, packaging materials, and unit count, and you get a per-unit assembly price back within 24 hours.
What isn't custom-quoted — what's flat and published, the same for every client — is the fulfillment underneath the kit: receiving, storage, and pick-pack-ship. Those are the line items that make up most of an event fulfillment invoice, so here they are in full below.
Published rates for event and mailer fulfillment
These are the same rates every KAK client pays, locked through Q1 2027. Kitting and assembly add a custom-quoted per-unit fee on top of pick-pack-ship; everything below is exactly what shows up on the invoice.

What a 300-unit influencer campaign actually costs
Say your agency is seeding 300 units to influencers ahead of a launch — standard mailers, each under 5 lb, no branded kitting. Product arrives on two pallets and sits in storage for one month before it ships against your go-live date.

How we hit a hard event date
Orders and inventory that reach us before the 2pm CT cutoff, Monday through Saturday, ship or get prepped that same day. For a campaign tied to a fixed date, that means working backward: tell us the drop-dead ship date, and we build the pack-out schedule to clear the full run before it, not on it.
- You send SKUs, unit count, and target ship date.
- Product ships to our Houston dock and gets checked in against your packing list as it arrives.
- Kitting or standard pack-out happens on the agreed timeline, with a status check ahead of the cutoff week.
- The full run ships against your date, with tracking synced back to you as it goes out.

What to ask before you hand off a campaign
Every agency RFQ we get asks some version of the same questions. Answering them upfront — for us or for whoever else you're evaluating — is the fastest way to avoid a surprise invoice later:
- Minimums? None. A 20-unit press run and a 2,000-unit activation get the same per-order rate.
- Setup or account-management fees? None. No contract — we work month-to-month.
- Preassembly required, or pick-on-demand? Neither is forced. Standard kits ship picked and packed per order at the rates above; if you want units pre-kitted and shelf-ready ahead of the order, that's the custom-quoted kitting service.
- What packaging is included? Standard packaging materials are billed from $0.25 per order. Branded inserts, tissue, ribbon, and custom boxes are quoted against your materials.
- Carrier markup? None. Discounted USPS/UPS/FedEx rates pass through at cost.
- Peak-season surcharges? None. Our per-order and per-pallet rates don't change during peak season.

Do you take one-time PR drops, or only ongoing ecommerce accounts?
One-time drops are fine. There's no minimum order volume and no contract — you pay per order and per pallet, whether that's a single 300-unit mailer run or an ongoing DTC account.
Can you build custom influencer kits with tissue paper, ribbon, and branded inserts?
Yes, custom kitting is available and custom-quoted. Send us your exact packaging materials and assembly steps and you'll have a per-unit price within 24 hours.
What does a standard press mailer cost to fulfill?
$2.00 per order for anything up to 5 lb — packaging materials from $0.25. Heavier boxes run $2.75 (5–8 lb), $4.00 (8–15 lb), or custom quote (over 15 lb).
How fast can you turn around a rush event campaign?
Inventory or orders in before the 2pm CT cutoff, Monday through Saturday, get prepped or shipped that same day.
Do you charge rush or peak-season surcharges for event timing?

My campaign only needs storage for two or three weeks — how does billing work?
Storage is billed monthly at $25 per pallet, and you only pay for the time you actually use. There's no setup fee.
Can PR fulfillment run alongside our regular Amazon or Shopify fulfillment?
Yes. It's the same Houston warehouse, the same account, and the same per-order and per-pallet rates whether the order is a press kit, a Shopify order, or an Amazon FBA shipment.
What happens to leftover inventory after the event ships?
It stays in climate-controlled storage at $25 per pallet, billed monthly, until you tell us where it goes next — back into regular fulfillment or shipped back to you.
Do you inspect kits for quality before they ship?
We pack every kit to the specs you send us — contents, packaging materials, and assembly steps you approve upfront. If your team wants to inspect a kit in person before it ships, walk-ins are welcome with 24 hours' notice, Monday through Saturday, 9am–6pm CT.
