We ship FBM orders and prep FBA units the same business day when they reach our Houston warehouse before 2pm CT, Monday through Saturday. Start with a small shipment or an established operation. There is no minimum volume. Tell us what you sell so we can confirm the handling, space and shipping you actually need.
What will my first month cost?
Example: 500 single-item orders under 5 lb × $2.00 full-service handling = $1,000. At $0.25 per mailer add $125; two full billable pallet-months add $50 and one inbound pallet adds $20. Total: $1,195 BEFORE postage, returns or extra work.
Examples use standard storage in the first three months. Long-stay pallet rates are $28/month in months 3–6 and $32/month after six months. Your written quote separates receiving, storage, handling, materials and shipping. Build your own estimate.
Why are there two handling prices?
Under 5 lb, Lean FBA is $0.50/unit and Lean FBM is $1.75/order when goods arrive pre-packed and ready to label. Full-service handling is $0.75/FBA unit or $2.00/FBM order; materials and postage are separate. These are service tiers, not automatic volume discounts.

Can you handle my products and platform?
Share your product type, packed dimensions and weight, sales platform and expected volume. Small batches and returns-only enquiries are welcome. Batteries, liquids, food, supplements, temperature-sensitive, hazardous or oversized items need acceptance and handling requirements confirmed before you ship.
For Shopify, Amazon, Walmart or another platform such as Amboras, tell us how orders and inventory are exchanged. The team confirms the connection or file workflow before onboarding; a platform name alone does not guarantee a supported integration.
How do I send inventory?
- Send your SKU list, dimensions, weights and carton/pallet count.
- Receive the written scope, rates and product-acceptance confirmation.
- Confirm account setup, labeling and receiving instructions with the team before dispatch.
- Send shipment details and tracking; agree the first prep job or order workflow.

What about shipping and storage dimensions?
For a shipping estimate, send origin and destination ZIP codes, packed dimensions, weight, parcel count and desired delivery speed. Handling prices do not include carrier postage. Storage is charged only by carton or pallet. Bin and shelf storage is included in our standard pick-and-pack rate, with no separate charge. Send product dimensions and quantities so the team can confirm usable space, availability and the applicable carton or pallet storage rate in writing.

What "same-day" actually covers
Same-day means: inventory or orders that reach our 32,000 sqft Houston facility before 2pm CT, Monday through Saturday, get processed that same business day. Nothing arrives after 2pm CT and still gets called same-day — it moves into the next business day's queue, and we'll tell you that at intake instead of overpromising.
The cutoff works two different ways depending on what you send us:
- FBA prep — units received before 2pm CT get FNSKU-labeled, polybagged, bubble-wrapped, and cartonized that day, ready for pickup or outbound to an Amazon fulfillment center.
- FBM / DTC orders — orders that sync from Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, Magento, or Amazon FBM before 2pm CT get picked, packed, and handed to the carrier the same day.

Carrier labels — USPS, UPS, FedEx — pass through at our discounted rate with no markup. No setup fees, no minimums, no contracts (month-to-month), no peak-season surcharges. There's no setup fee. What a month of same-day fulfillment actually costs
Take a mid-size DTC brand doing 300 FBM orders a month, holding 6 pallets of inventory, and restocking monthly with a 20-pallet inbound shipment. Using only the published rates above:

That's roughly $4.04 all-in per order — warehouse operations only, before carrier postage, which passes through at cost with no markup on top. If that same brand is also running Amazon FBA and preps, say, 400 units through us that month, add 400 × $0.75 = $300, bringing the total to $1,510.50. How a same-day order actually moves through the warehouse
- Inventory or order data arrives — ASN for inbound shipments, or an order sync from your connected sales channel.
- Inbound is received and logged into KAK WMS; receiving is $20/pallet ($5/carton), and stock is available to pick the same day it's received.
- Orders route to picking based on the 2pm CT cutoff — anything queued before the cutoff is prioritized for same-day dispatch.
- Pick, pack, and (for FBA) prep — FNSKU labeling, polybagging, bubble wrap, cartonization — happens against the standard flow, the same for every SKU, to avoid rework.
- Carrier label is generated at the passed-through discounted rate and the order or FBA case leaves the building before close of business.
- Tracking syncs back to your storefront or Seller Central, and your KAK WMS dashboard updates in real time.
Questions we get before a brand switches to us
Do you take on new or small brands?
Yes — there's no minimum order volume, spend, or SKU count. If you're a new brand launching with a first batch of a few hundred units, you start on the same rate card as a seller doing thousands of orders a month.
Setup, onboarding, software, or account-management fees?
None. No setup fee, no software fee to use KAK WMS, no account-management retainer. You pay the per-unit and per-order rates above and nothing else recurring.
Contract length or cancellation penalties?
Month-to-month. No contract to sign your way into and no penalty for leaving.
How is storage billed, and is it climate-controlled?
$25 per pallet per month — $25 for a full month per pallet — and the whole facility is climate-controlled. You're only billed for the fraction of the month you actually use, not a flat monthly rate regardless of when you shipped in or out.
Do you track lot numbers and expiration dates?
Yes, lot-number and expiration-date tracking is available through KAK WMS, alongside real-time inventory counts.
What about branded packaging, inserts, or preassembled bundles?
Standard pick-pack includes basic packaging at the flat per-order rate — no forced preassembly. Bundles are picked and packed per order by default; if you want SKUs preassembled ahead of time, or custom inserts and thank-you cards, that's kitting and it's custom-quoted against your spec.
What don't you publish a price for?
Kitting, subscription-box assembly, container devanning, LTL freight, and white-glove handling are all real services we run, but the cost depends on your specifics — carrier rates, box counts, assembly time.
