Before you request a quote

Start with a small shipment or an established operation. There is no minimum volume. Tell us what you sell so we can confirm the handling, space and shipping you actually need.
What will my first month cost?
Example: 500 single-item orders under 5 lb × $2.00 full-service handling = $1,000. At $0.25 per mailer add $125; two full billable pallet-months add $50 and one inbound pallet adds $20. Total: $1,195 BEFORE postage, returns or extra work.
Examples use standard storage in the first three months. Long-stay pallet rates are $28/month in months 3–6 and $32/month after six months. Your written quote separates receiving, storage, handling, materials and shipping. Build your own estimate.
Why are there two handling prices?
Under 5 lb, Lean FBA is $0.50/unit and Lean FBM is $1.75/order when goods arrive pre-packed and ready to label. Full-service handling is $0.75/FBA unit or $2.00/FBM order; materials and postage are separate. These are service tiers, not automatic volume discounts.
Heavier items use different weight bands; over 15 lb or bulky items need a written quote. See the complete rate card.
Can you handle my products and platform?
Share your product type, packed dimensions and weight, sales platform and expected volume. Small batches and returns-only enquiries are welcome. Batteries, liquids, food, supplements, temperature-sensitive, hazardous or oversized items need acceptance and handling requirements confirmed before you ship.
For Shopify, Amazon, Walmart or another platform such as Amboras, tell us how orders and inventory are exchanged. The team confirms the connection or file workflow before onboarding; a platform name alone does not guarantee a supported integration.
How do I send inventory?
- Send your SKU list, dimensions, weights and carton/pallet count.
- Receive the written scope, rates and product-acceptance confirmation.
- Confirm account setup, labeling and receiving instructions with the team before dispatch.
- Send shipment details and tracking; agree the first prep job or order workflow.

What about shipping and storage dimensions?
For a shipping estimate, send origin and destination ZIP codes, packed dimensions, weight, parcel count and desired delivery speed. Handling prices do not include carrier postage. Storage is charged only by carton or pallet. Bin and shelf storage is included in our standard pick-and-pack rate, with no separate charge. Send product dimensions and quantities so the team can confirm usable space, availability and the applicable carton or pallet storage rate in writing.

How custom unboxing pricing actually works
Every order we ship already includes standard packaging — a box or poly mailer, tape, and basic void fill — inside our base fulfillment rate. Custom unboxing is what you add on top of that: printed boxes, colored tissue, branded stickers, a thank-you card, or a kitted bundle assembled before it ships. We quote the add-on separately from the base rate so you can see exactly what plain fulfillment costs versus what the branded experience costs.
That split matters because a lot of 3PLs bury the base rate and the packaging upcharge into one number you can't audit. Ours are published — see our full price list — and the custom piece, whether that's box printing, insert cost, or assembly labor, gets quoted once we know your SKUs, box dimensions, and order volume. No "starting at" pricing on the part we can't publish honestly.

What we can't publish — and what we need to quote it
We don't invent a number for custom packaging because it isn't one cost. A printed mailer box, tissue paper with a wax-seal sticker, and a die-cut insert card are three different line items from three different suppliers with three different lead times. What we can tell you: kitting, bundling, subscription-box assembly, and custom inserts or thank-you cards are all services we run in-house at our 32,000 sqft Houston facility — priced per project once we see your specs.

Custom packaging that still passes Amazon inspection
If you're prepping for FBA, custom unboxing has to clear Amazon's inbound requirements without a second prep pass tacked on. Our $0.75/unit FBA prep already covers FNSKU labeling, polybagging, bubble wrapping, and standard cartonization — that part doesn't change when you add branded elements. We build your custom box or insert into the same prep run instead of a separate pass. The $0.75/unit rate doesn't change, and the custom materials or assembly labor are the separately quoted add-on, same as elsewhere on this page.
For FBM and DTC orders — Shopify, TikTok Shop, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, Magento, Amazon FBM — the branded unboxing ships as your actual outer packaging, since there's no marketplace prep spec to satisfy. Send us your box specs either way — FBA-bound or shipping straight to your customer — and we'll quote the custom materials and assembly the same way, per SKU.

No minimums, no contracts, no surprise fees
Every shipment we handle carries insurance coverage up to $500,000, and KAK is fully liable for our own handling errors. Postage and carrier labels — USPS, UPS, FedEx — pass through at our discounted rate with no markup, whether the box is generic or fully branded. If your unboxing project needs container devanning, LTL freight, or white-glove handling, those are quoted per shipment at negotiated carrier cost — ask when you request your quote.
